In 2006 I was contacted by Erik Allebest, owner of Chess.com, to create some icons for the then-unreleased Chess.com website. Being a longtime Chess player, I was very happy to have the chance to work on this project.
Some of the icons I created for this project are shown below. From time to time Erik asks me for a few more icons to add to the ever-changing Chess.com website.
